ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ is unique not only to Kyrgyzstan, but to the region as a whole, offering students from Kyrgyzstan - as well as international students from around the world - an opportunity to study in an atmosphere which encourages them to develop their minds freely and to think critically. They choose their courses and majors from among 11 major programs, including American Studies, Business Administration, Anthropology, Economics, European Studies, International and Comparative Politics, Journalism, Law, Psychology, Sociology, Software Engineering, Sustainable Development, and Human Rights.

The student body currently numbers approximately 1,300. ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ has a highly trained faculty, with professors from Kyrgyzstan and the United States as well as Australia, Canada, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Romania, Russia, and Turkey. The student to faculty ratio 10:1, meaning that students enjoy individualized instruction and the opportunity to work closely with professors.

International Student Office helps ÂÌñ»»ÆÞÌýand international students achieve their educational and personal goals. The office advises local students on study abroad programs and helps international students on all matters pertaining to their legal status,Ìýcultural, social, educational, and personal concerns in Kyrgyzstan.ÌýInternational Student OfficeÌýat ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ works to prepare incoming exchange students for the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ experience and provides information to permanent ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ students on opportunities available to study abroad at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ's numerous partner universities.

International visiting and exchange students come to ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ, usually, for a semester or a year. ÌýIf you are a visiting or exchange student from another country, your primary point of contact at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞÌýis the International Students Office (ISO). If you are a student from North American colleges and universities, you can apply to ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Study Abroad through only.Ìý
