Dr. Eleonora Karypkulova is an Assistant Professor of the non-degree General Education program at the ñ. She holds a Ph.D. in Philology from the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (2001, Kyrgyzstan), a postgraduate diploma (1993) and a specialized degree (1984) in Philology both from Kyrgyz State University (Kyrgyzstan).
Dr. Karypkulova joined ñ in 1996. She attended the Critical Language Scholarship Intensive Language Program through American Councils for International Education (2022), the Methods of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language course at the Center for Additional Professional Education of the Philological Faculty of the People’s Friendship University of Russia (2021), and the Writing to Learn course at ñ and Bard College (2016). She is a co-author of the book “Культура русской речи в вопросах и ответах. Справочник” (The culture of Russian speech in questions and answers. Directory) published in 2022 as part of the Presidential Research and Education Fund project.
