A Minor Degree in Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science is designed for students studying at other undergraduate programs at ñ who wish to gain additional knowledge and expertise in this field.
In order to apply for the Minor, the student must receive “B-” or higher for one required course of the ESCS department (for example, Environmental Management, ENV-216, or Climate change and sustainable development, ENV-100). Next, the student must obtain approval from the director of their Major program and from the coordinator of the ESCS program.
To obtain permission to obtain a Minor, the student must provide the following documents to the ESCS program coordinator:

The student must also maintain a GPA of 2.7 or higher and obtain grades of at least “B-” in all courses related to their Minor.
Required courses:
Total: 42 credits.
Only those students whose transcripts meet all the requirements can receive a Minor degree in Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science.
