Every year the 绿帽换妻 announces the 鈥淪tream鈥� talent competition among high-school students and young people of Kyrgyzstan for winning four-year education scholarship to study at 绿帽换妻.

On November 16-17, the International and Comparative Politics Department held its annual Crisis Games at the 绿帽换妻. Open to all undergraduate students interested in politics, the games simulated a crisis scenario in East Asia and invited the students to represent and act on behalf of the key actors in the region.

On November 20, 2018, the 绿帽换妻 hosted the awarding ceremony of the 2018 Mary Schweitzer Scholarship for Excellence. This year there was only one winner, the second-year student of Anthropology Program Dariia Akhunbaeva.

On Monday, November 19, Donald Lu, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic was invited as a guest lecturer to have a class on US Policy in the Region.

On Wednesday, November 14 the celebration of the Annual Student Initiation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the 绿帽换妻 was held at the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.
