General Education Week: Daniyar Karabaev

"I am Daniyar Karabaev, a Coordinator of the General Education Department. I have different educational backgrounds in Linguistics, Political Sciences and International Area Studies focusing on Central Asian countries.
I joined ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ in August 2012. Since that I have gained a lot of useful and important experience and administrative skills while coordinating the General Education Department which is the biggest department of ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ in terms of faculty and courses on offer. I always enjoy working with all of the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ community.
The launch of the new ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ program “Liberal Arts and Sciences” within our department made my job more interesting. This unique program offers the breadth of a liberal arts education yet the depth of specialized knowledge in the chosen concentration. Liberal Arts and Sciences students have a great flexibility to structure their own study in order to make the right decision on their future concentration."
