New Publication by ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ faculty: History Making in Central and Northern Eurasia

We are happy to announce the publication of a collective volume on History Making in Central and Northern Eurasia (Wiesbaden: Reichert Verlag.) The volume is edited by Svetlana Jacquesson -- director of CASI and coordinator of MACAS.

Svetlana is also the author of the introduction to the volume, and of a chapter on "Genealogies as a craft: the search for truth, completeness and authoritativeness in contemporary Kyrgyzstan."

Christopher Baker -- associate professor at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ's GenEd Department and research coordinator at CASI -- is one of the contributors to the volume with a chapter on "The power and significance of the ethnic past."
